Grimsey Island, Movement I is a Barcarolle, depicting a boat ride to or around Grimsey. This is the northernmost part of Iceland, and is a dramatic place that's partially within the Arctic Circle. At Summer Solstice the sun doesn't set, and at Winter Solstice it doesn't rise. There are fewer than 60 year-round human inhabitants. You can only get to the island by taking a long boat ride.

This is also the first music I've ever posted on YouTube that I wrote, myself!
