Operation Ronin | ThruDark Expedition | Jay Morton - SAS: Who Dares Wins

Watch the latest ThruDark Expedition; deployed its expedition team to Japan on Operation Ronin. The mission: To test, evaluate and develop our product range.

Testing the current ThruDark product range in the harshest weather conditions: Raid, Breach, Scout Smock, Zodiac, Skirmish, Charge.

Future products on test included prototype shell jackets, ski mountaineering / freeride apparel, mid layers and base layers.

Report: Testing conditions were perfect. Niseko and the Hokkaido region were hit with storms bringing temperatures of -17C before wind chill and 60kph+ winds. the film crew got stuck in with the Thrudark athletes... and they were stood around! The Aussie photographer with 15+ years of experience on ski-specific shoots reports that the Breach Jacket is the warmest jacket he has ever worn; his description included a few more adjectives... 'sweet, stoked, sick'. The videographer claimed the SF Smock as his new boarding jacket.
