This leg of the journey was quite peaceful and a lot less strenous when compared to day 1. The weather managed to keep mostly dry but for a few showers which led to me donning the waterproof at times throughout the day. For me, the most memorable parts of the day for me firstly was the lovely Bakewell, such a nice town. Lastly, coming into Milldale, there is a steep descent along a footpath that can only be described as a quagmire owing to the previous days heavy rain. It made the last mile particularly challenging, something I didn't quite catch on film, but I assume it is because I was trying my hardest to navigate it.
