Rainbow Valley Resort is a wonderful homestay within the lap of nature and totally distinct from the hustle and bustle of the crowded city of Darjeeling. It takes around 2.5 hours from Siliguri & around 1.5 hours from Darjeeling to reach Rainbow Valley Resort. As the name suggests, it is a resort, but you will not feel here like you are staying in a resort, but it is more like a premium homestay with dense forest and tea garden.

If you are looking for a Kanchendzonga view homestay, it is not the right place to stay here, but you will get to see astonishing view of valley on a clear day with a distant view of Kanyam, Nepal and also the view of Tingling viewpoint is clearly visible from here.

Room tariff is already described in my view and the quality of food was really awesome here. You will also get WiFi facility here if you want to work from hill but do not expect very high-speed internet here.

If you are coming from Siliguri or Darjeeling, you can get into a shared car and come to Rangbul fatak and there you can reserve a car for the last 5 kms offbeat route leading to the homestay. If you are not a good driver, please do not self-drive your car to reach to this resort since the road is a beat offbeat route. If you are confident driving a hilly offbeat road, then you can surely plan to come here while self-driving your own car.
