Less than an hour’s drive from Malaga and Granada, our location in Almuñecar on the Costa Tropical gives us access to some of the best cycling in Europe.

The Sierra Nevada, Almijara and Alpujarra mountains are all nearby, making the region a mecca for mountain bikers and road bikers alike.

Quiet roads ascend into jaw-dropping mountain ranges, along dramatic coastlines and through traditional Spanish white villages. Serendipitous trails pass along leafy valleys with avocado and mango groves. And there are adrenaline-pumping single-tracks with 360° views of mountains and sea.

Or you can enjoy the Spanish pace of life – cruising along the seafront ‘paseo maritimo’ with the occasional stop for cervezas and tapas.

And with the most temperate climate in Europe, there’s every chance you’ll get blue skies and sunshine too.

Here at Costa Tropical Cycling, we’ve got everything you need to enjoy the region on two wheels. We have a well-stocked shop and cycle workshop with top-of-the-range bicycles and scooters to buy or rent. And we run guided tours in the area.
