Many newcomers are interested in gem hunting. This is a very interesting field and mineral lovers love it the most. This is a bit adventurous hobby. A person may spend a lot of time in this work and pay fee also. No all countries allow gem hunting. Gem hunting is allowed for only semi-precious stones.

Searching for gemstones or gem hunting can be a profitable hobby also. One gem hunter when finding a gem out of the ground, it would be a rewarding moment for him. Gem hunters enjoy this activity a lot. If they are goal oriented, they can go to the fine gemstones which can even be set in jewellery fittings.

Assessment of gemstones finding is also a difference. There are many ways to get an idea of whether there is a gemstone or not. Many times after a lot of efforts, they find nothing. Sometimes, with little efforts, they find many good things.
