Even though the law kicked in at the start of the year, your regular paychecks are still being taxed as usual, unless you qualify. Here’s what needs to happen:

✅ First, your overtime must fall under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
✅ Second, that overtime needs to be reported on your W-2, and for the 2025 tax year, that’ll hit your mailbox by January 2026.

💰 Now for the juicy part: You could deduct up to $12,500 if you're single, and up to $25,000 if you’re married and filing jointly. But there's a catch...
