DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED - Firelink Shrine to the Catacombs boss Pinwheel via shortcut jump

This is a run from the Firelink Shrine bonfire to the Catacombs boss Pinwheel using the shortcut jump. If you are going to summon Paladin Leeroy to help kill Pinwheel, then remember you need to restore your humanity at the bonfire. Secondly, as this video shows it is possible to have a skeleton follow you down, so be prepared to fight; btw, it would have been smarter for me to melee the skeleton. Once you summon Paladin Leeroy immediately run to the boss fog since he can get distracted by the skeletons and end up dying if you delay. He will do most of the damage in the boss fight. Finally, and this is very important, make sure you have a Homeward Bone so you can return to Firelink Shrine after the boss fight, otherwise you are stuck and have a very tricky long walk back through many dangers. If you want to co-op the Catacombs by summoning other players, then DO NOT kill the boss this way. Typically, this method is used to allow kindling bonfires to maximum early game.
