The Buccaneer Aviation Group also known as TBAG, is a UK based not- for- profit organisation located at Cotswold Airport (former RAF Kemble) having been previously based at Bruntingthorpe. They are a group of volunteers dedicated to the preservation of the Blackburn Buccaneer. They have two ex RAF aircraft, XX894 and XW544 which they have owned since 2004. And after huge restoration efforts and including moving these aircraft from Bruntingthorpe both aircraft are in fully operational condition. The aim of the group is to honour the service of the air and ground crews, the people that built them and to help inspire future generations to continue preserving the Buccaneer. One of the aircraft is currently have it`s paint stripped in preparation for a new paint job. During the engine run all systems are checked including wing fold/unfold all control services, bomb bay rotation, airbrake operation and arrestor hook.
