The APCO CRF-100C boasts a wide range of features designed to maximize performance and longevity such as:
• Non-Slam Closure: with a short 35-degree disc stroke and internally mounted leaf spring, the valve ensures rapid closure usually prior to flow reversal.
• 100% Flow Area: The 100% flow area design allows for unrestricted flow, reducing head loss and making the valve more energy efficient, ideal for high-solids applications like slurries and sludge.
• Enhanced Durability: Made from ductile iron and coated with 12 mils of Fusion Bonded Epoxy inside and out, the CRF-100C resists corrosion and wear, ensuring long service life.

o An O-ring cover-to-body seal enhances reliability over traditional gasket seals.
o Three sixteen stainless steel bolting ensures superior corrosion resistance.
o A self-locating flapper pin simplifies maintenance by making field servicing easier and more precise.
• Industry Certifications: The CRF-100C meets industry standards, including AWWA C508 (ay-double-u-double-u-ay, see-five-oh-eight), MSS SP-136 (em-ess-ess, ess-pee, one-thirty-six) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372 (en-ess-eff / an-see / kan sixty-one and three-seventy-two)—ensuring compliance for potable water applications.
• Customizable Options:
o A hold open device is available when back flushing is required.
o For situations that require advanced dampening, an externally adjustable spring return can be added.
o A position indicator with or without a proximity switch is available when knowing the state of the valve is critical.
• Rugged design:
o The CRF-100C flapper has been tested to one million cycles to the AWWA C508 standard. To illustrate our confidence in this design, DeZURIK offers a special 25-year warranty on the flex portion of the flapper.
o This valve also has a 250psi pressure rating.
• AIS, BABA, and BAA (aye-eye-ess, bah-bah, and, bee-aye-aye) compliance is available when required.
