Prime Minister Mark Carney says he plans to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation summit in South Korea. The meeting will be the first time the leaders of the two countries have met formally since former prime minister Justin Trudeau met with Xi during an official visit to China in 2017.
