Believe it or not this is one of the most asked question I get, at least 2 or 3 people have asked :)

Sadly my genesis story doesn't involve radioactive spiders, gamma radiation or different colour suns. But it's kind of interesting, I think, and may be useful one way or another to people as they contemplate whether armouring is a hobby or a business.
