This morning H22, H23, H44 and H48 entered suburban service featuring the new suburban/Sydney Trains Oscar livery. I was able to head to Blacktown and check them out there. I must say, I was pretty surprised that nothing has changed inside H44 and H48. As I mentioned in the video, I believe this is because it only recently received the new lick of paint and they didn't have time to refurbish the interior yet. I assume this might happen when they withdraw more Oscars from either the CCN or SCO, and that will probably be when they get around to removing the toilets. H22 and H23 seem to have a much more complete interior refurbishment, with the inside of the doors repainted to orange, the flooring and seating replaced to match the Waratahs. The seats were just as comfortable as before, and they fortunately still have leg rests. One thing that kind of surprised me is that these carriages still have quiet carriage stickers, which I assume they just haven't gotten around to removing.
