All three of us sibs got together to check out the new Big Agnes Scout 2 Carbon! Luckily, it rained a lot that night so we could see how it might perform on trail in less-than-ideal conditions. Overall, we think it's an AWESOME tent. One quick update: we let it sit outside all night in the storm, and when we checked it this morning, it was completely dry (mesh pockets and all).

Using the footprint will definitely go a long way to keep it in good shape, and smart site selection should make for a comfortable night's sleep. We're excited to take it for a spin on the PCT this summer in NorCal and Washington! Shannon will use the Scout; Brendan and Kevan will probably use the Big Agnes Tiger Wall...another great tent that we highly recommend.
