Morgan Has A New Small Low Watt Amp! | Morgan Amps FIVE 6V6 Single Ended Tube Guitar Amp

Morgan just released a 5-watt all tube guitar amplifier and it's tiny! Light enough to fit in a backpack or carry-on, the FIVE is a small low watt tube head with some great tones.

Morgan Amps teased the FIVE at #namm2019 and only recently offered the first batch of these 6V6 powered tube heads. I love a good low-powered tube head and wanted to take this one for a spin.

The AGRO control acts like a master volume and works in conjunction with the VOL control to get powerful cleans or rich tube saturation depending on how you set it. The TONE control is dynamic, with a nice range. The amp takes pedals nicely and has been a real treat in the studio. Dial in your volume and tone and use the AGRO to tame the output if the neighbors are sleeping. Mix and match with different cabs and speaker sizes (8 and 16ohm outputs available) to lean into the small amp feel or let it breathe and sing.

All housed in a beautiful head shell with black tolex and dark chilewich face, with the iconic backlit M logo.
