Thaletas's Speech in Ancient Greek (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)

Описание к видео Thaletas's Speech in Ancient Greek (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)

In the quest "The Thaletas Way", after Thaletas finishes his speech to his men, if you wait before talking to him, he will recite an encouraging speech in ancient greek. Although it is a passage that can be heard a few times from random background NPC's as well, it looks like this is kind of its original and official place, due to the story's theme and the context of the scene.
Free translation: "Let's go boys! Stand straight, be brave and proud; act as if you are already in the battlefield. Always remember to take your loot but be mindful and treat your captives with respect. Never leave a mess behind; take care of yourselves and your partners. Be aware of yourselves but refrain from thinking that you are gods of war. Be modest but never cower before any kind of imminent danger. If you act like cowards, the gods will punish you with misfortune, but if you are brave and smart, they will respect you and reward you accordingly. You are soldiers, so act like soldiers. I want to see the flame of youth in your eyes; I want to see the fire of Prometheus burning in you as you fight with all your might, leading you to forge a new world."
