One the weekends of December 2024, the Mornington Tourist Railway operated Santa Specials between the Heritage Moorooduc and Mornington stations on the former Mornington Rail Line.
During the year, the Mornington Railway operate trains every Sunday with extras for special occasions like the Santa Specials.
