With the PIKO CI commercial inverter, KOSTAL has recently launched a real flagship for the production of large solar energy capacities. Now the first exciting update is already taking place: The PIKO CI now shows even more power in 50 and 60 kW and improves the control options by implementing the SUNSPEC protocol. Janine Mehner spoke with Thomas Garber, Senior Product Manager PV Inverter at KOSTAL, about the innovations in the project inverter.

́The PIKO CI delivers 30, 50 or 60 kW and is particularly suitable for commercial operation and project business. In addition to its MODBUS communication, the international SUNSPEC protocol now offers the possibility of flexibly expanding control functions and optimizing worldwide use in bundle operation.
