Patreon & Gumroad NSFW Bans? No More Feederism? Gumroad & Patreon's New Porn Policies, Explained

Gumroad and Patreon have taken significant steps to ban adult content on their platforms. For Gumroad, that's just a straight up NSFW ban. No porn on the site. For Patreon, it's tightening the screws on NSFW material. Adult games, illustrations, stories, and more focused on consensual nonconsent are under the gun. So is furry content, as well as feederism material.

What's going on? Blame the payment processors, folks. They're the ones pulling the strings and calling the shots. Here's my guide to the new Patreon and Gumroad adult content rules, and why I think they're happening.

I really wanted to get this video out ASAP since this is a pretty urgent story + policy change. Editing and explanation might not be as polished. My apologies! Hoping to get to regular, fully fleshed out video essay content sometime soon, given most of my videos have been more improvised / VLOGy as of recent (including this one).
