Gripslip Review

After a teammate posted a link to this I had to try and get my hands on one to review, so I contacted John at Cricketing Edge and he was happy to send me a sample, noting that there was a minor problem with the first batch that the logo can rub off after repeated use and has been fixed for all subsequent batches.

I found it easy to use for one grip and it is now stored in my kit bag as it's lighter than a grip cone. I wish I had some newer grips to practice with on the day I filmed the demonstration as the better the grip the easier the application. I'm not sure it will replace the cone for multiple grip applications and bats with counterbalance knobs will give it a challenge, but overall I have used it multiple times and appreciate the weight saving in my kit bag.
