Ham Radio Basics: How to Solder a PL259 Connector

In this epidode of Ham Radio Basics we look at how to solder a PL259 connector to coaxial cable. All too often, new hams want to make a clean install of a radio/antenna on a vehicle or in a home and are afraid to remove the premade pl259 from the coax. It's really not very difficult to remove your connector and put a new one on after feeding the cable through whatever small opening you need. All you need is a few basic tools and a new connector.
