On our first day taking our Narrowboat Home on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, we encounter leaky locks, some dodgy advice and a ridiculous swing bridge - possibly the worst you could ever wish to meet!
But it's not all doom and gloom as we experience the splendor of this new (to us) canal and, thanks to some incorrect info, we happen to moor close to Kirkstall Abbey which gives us the opportunity to tell the history of this old ruin.
