MR2 Championship 2024 Round 10 - Silverstone International - Car 59, Andy Baranowski

Another race, another sub-optimal start. Having qualified 8th I knew that without fighting I could potentially hang onto the group in front of me, at least for a while. Instead I immediately ruined that game plan and found myself fighting to get back to the top 10.

Another enounter with the 79 on the second lap, this time at the Club chicane, left me looking forward to chase down the 2 and then the 9 car. Once again the MK2's straightline speed proved hard to beat, combined with some excellent defensive lines that compromised my corner exits at key points. I threw every combinations of lines and pressure I could at him, but to no avail.

Another 10th place finish and a handshake and big smile for Tim in the 9 car for one of the best battles in my short racing career! On to Croft!
