Welcome to Springfield fellow Dazzlers and New Players alike! We're taking a look at another one of Konami's smash hit brawler arcade games: The Simpsons! The plot is simple: Mr. Smithers has stolen a gem - and Maggie along with it! Are you a bad enough Simpson to rescue Maggie?

We're using the 2-player version in this video, that way I can switch between whatever character I want as the game goes on. There does exist a 4-player version, however, in that one each player is stuck to a specific character. Like most of Konami's brawlers, the controls are pretty simple, and the game itself is straightforward. Better get those tapping fingers ready, though, because there are bonus stages in between a couple of the levels!

This was a game you used to see around EVERYWHERE - and it's understandable why. The Simpsons were HUGE at one point, so why not get a cab of this game for your arcade, right? Unfortunately, a homeport never surfaced. I THINK you could get it for a really short time on PS3 and Xbox 360, along with X-Men, but not anymore. Aren't licensing issues with licensed games fun?

Well, unless you have MS-DOS.

So get ready to beat up some corporate bad guys. We've got a baby to save!

The ROM used in this video is The Simpsons 2 Players World Set 2 Version. No cheats were used.
