Filmed at Elk Island National Park in late July. The bulls are starting to prepare for the rutting season and one shows how they do it. Urinate on the ground, wallow (roll around) in it, then stand up and shake it off! If you listen carefully you can hear his dewlap and fur slapping when he shakes.

The cow standing near him is nearing estrus (ready to mate) which can be seen by her holding her tail outwards. The bull will remain near her for a few days until she is ready, a behavior called "tending bond", then he will move on to the next cow.
