GEITF 2013 - Brian Henson's Evolution of Puppetry

The session is a creative journey through the development of the distinctive Henson puppetry technique. Brian will talk about how the Henson style revolutionised puppetry since the creation of the Muppets in the 1950s and how it paved the way for many of the puppetry and animation techniques we see today. Brian will also present an overview of the groundbreaking technical achievements in animatronics and digital puppetry that continue to be a part of the company's legacy, and will use live demonstrations to illustrate his presentation and talk about what's coming next for one of the most iconic entertainment brands ever.
