In today’s video, I am going to share with you a base makeup tutorial using my all-time favourite foundation. Yes, it’s none other than the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation.
#FitMeFoundation has always been my go-to foundation (since my teenage days) and now that I have become an influencer, I can’t imagine doing makeup without this staple product.

Now that you all know about my favourite foundation, let’s get started on the base makeup tutorial.
Step 1: To ace the base, prep the skin and ensure it has minimised pores and a smooth surface. A primer does this job magnificently. As usual, I will apply Maybelline New York Fit Me Primer – Matte + Poreless (that lasts up to 16 hours). I chose this because I have oily skin and this primer helps control oil, the appearance of pores, and extends makeup wear. If you have dry skin, go for the other variant Maybelline New York Fit Me Primer –Dewy + Smooth. You can apply the primer with your fingertips or a makeup brush.
Step 2: Put the required amount of foundation at the back of your hand (you can feel how
lightweight yet buildable the foundation is!) and start applying on your face. I have applied it on the left side of my face and you guys can see the difference. While I am blending it with a beauty blender, you can notice how easily this #FitMeFitsMySkin and blends well without giving a cakey or oily feel. The difference is obvious in the before and after look.
Pro tip: If you don’t know the right shade of your foundation, head towards the Foundation Finder tool and get your match by utilising the virtual try-on feature.
Step 3: Now, move on to apply the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (My shade is Café). This Maybelline Concealer helps hide imperfections, redness, and blemishes. Dot concealer on the imperfections or under the eyes and pat it with your fingers to blend it well.
Step 4: Finish your base makeup with Maybelline Fit Me Compact Powder (Matte + Poreless Pressed Powder) to get a mattifying and long-lasting shine.
