Goldsource Terrain Mapping Session (Hammer Editor 3.5)

Hey again guys.

this video isn't so much a tutorial, but rather an exemplary demonstration of how to create a more or less authentic outdoor scene in Hammer 3.5, using mostly non-triangular brushes.

The video is sped up by 500%.

Special Techniques used in the process:
1:06 - texture alignment around edges per ALT+RMB
17:23 - rock generation in JACK Editor

Misc information:
The light_environment uses the custom key "_diffuse_light" with a value of "50 102 199", which will result in bluish shadows.
