Andrew W.K. knows how to party hard, but he's pretty serious about high-quality instruments, which is why he turned to the ESP Custom Shop to create his own Taco Guitar, which was appropriately unveiled on October 4, 2017... National Taco Day. Andrew's previous food-themed ESP Custom was in the shape of a pizza.

"I started pondering, what’s another food that's as party as pizza? As far as party foods go, tacos are definitely partier than almost anything else. Pizza and tacos are among the partiest foods in the world. I realized that since I had paid tribute to pizza, I now had to pay tribute to tacos in all their glory. I was destined to make a taco shaped guitar," declared Andrew. "This is proof that if you have the vision, no matter how outlandish or unruly, the team at ESP Guitars can turn it into a beautiful reality. Andrew put his own artistic skills to the test in the creation of this new ESP Custom, choosing to paint the unique instrument by hand on his own. The guitar's outstanding artwork features a ground beef taco on the front (topped off with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, and jumbo diced tomatoes), and a blue eye on the back.
