Highlights from the International Bariatric Club Congress at the University of Oxford

Join us as we recap the remarkable International Bariatric Club Congress held at the prestigious University of Oxford! This event was a tremendous success, bringing together approximately 500 participants from 99 countries in an atmosphere of camaraderie and enlightenment.

I was truly honored to be one of the keynote speakers at this prestigious conference on Bariatric Surgery. The event featured high-caliber scientific content, expertly organized by Congress Director Prof. Haris Khwaja. Attendees had the opportunity to learn, share knowledge, and connect with fellow professionals from around the globe.

One of the highlights of the Congress was enjoying dinners in the illustrious Great Hall of Christchurch College, famously linked to Harry Potter, adding a magical touch to our experience. It was wonderful to catch up with old friends and forge new connections.

I feel privileged to collaborate with esteemed faculty members like #HarisKhwaja, #ArielOrtiz , #BrunoSgromo, and #TomaszRogula. During my talk, titled “Embracing Anti-Obesity Medications by Bariatric Surgeons: Will it Lead to First Class Results from Subsequent Bariatric & Metabolic Surgery?”, we explored important topics that will shape the future of our field.
