Looking for one of the best waterfall hikes in Shenandoah National Park? Come along as we hike the Rose River Loop, a 4-mile trail featuring cascading streams, lush forest, and the stunning 67-foot Rose River Falls.

Starting from Fishers Gap Overlook (mile 49.4 on Skyline Drive), we followed a route that quickly immerses you in mossy woods and flowing creeks. Along the way, we crossed a charming footbridge, explored shaded hollows, and cooled off at the falls — a perfect spot to pause and take it all in.

Elevation Gain: ~900 feet
Highlights: Rose River Falls, Cave Cemetery, shaded trail, creek crossings
