Call of Duty: WWII is a first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the fourteenth primary installment in the Call of Duty series and the first one to be set primarily during World War II since Call of Duty: World at War in 2008.In the single-player campaign, players primarily play as two soldiers of the 16th Infantry Regiment: Private Ronald "Red" Daniels (Brett Zimmerman) and his best friend, Jewish American, Private First Class Robert Zussman (Jonathan Tucker). Additional playable characters include Rousseau (Bella Dayne), a female Maquis leader of the French Forces of the Interior, and Major Arthur Crowley (David Alpay), a British Special Operations Executive officer. Daniels' and Zussman's platoon mates include Technical Sergeant William Pierson (Josh Duhamel), and platoon leader, 1st Lieutenant Joseph Turner (Jeffrey Pierce). Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell and offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva are set to make a cameo appearance in the game.
