Discourse Theory in Taha Abderrahmane's 'Fī Uṣūl al-Ḥiwār wa Tajdīd ʿIlm al-Kalām'

Presentation by yours truly, al-faqīr, on Prof. Dr. Taha Abderrahmane's monumental work on logic and philosophy of language, 'Fī Uṣūl al-Hiwār wa Tajdīd ʿIlm al-Kalām' at Zaytuna College as part of the Harvard-Zaytuna Research Symposium 2024.

This work, which many regard as one of Taha's most complicated work, allowed him to win the prestigious Moroccan Prize in Human Sciences in 1977. I began and successfully finished translating—by the grace of God the Most High—this work into English in winter of 2023. Publication of the translation is still pending me finding a suitable publisher.
