Testing my ident and surrounding presentation inspired by the 1991-1997 BBC 1 virtual globe, which is all generated and composited in real time (with the exception of the VHS post effect), so apologies for a few hitches where the renderer creaks!

Here we dip out of the real BBC One for a bit of an odd fantasy junction with programme slides and menu (which are both driven by live schedule data). We're just missing an announcer!

The abstract globe visuals also populate other presentation elements, which requires some fragile communication between a Stream Deck (for cueing elements), Unreal Engine (rendering the globe), and OBS (compositing the globe and other presentation elements) to synchronise camera cuts with presentation cues (hence a lot of fade through black to disguise less than frame accurate sync 😅)

There are other controls for the globe not being shown here (eg. to control lighting and motorised elements) but maybe I'll cover those later if there's any interest...
