Scooter and Motorcycle Rent In Pattaya, Thailand.

Renting a scooter or motorcycle is the most practical way to get around in Pattaya, Thailand. Mr. Deen Big Bike in Pattaya next to Central Mall on Beach Road is where I rent most of my scooters and motorcycles. There are, however, many places to rent motorbikes so if Mr. Deen doesn't have what I'm looking for I can just walk down Beach Road a short way and find just about anything I'm looking for.

Scooters are always my primary means of transportation all over Thailand and in every city I visit in South East Asia. Any transportation on two wheels is fun, but scooters are by far more practical than motorcycles when commuting in heavy traffic and dealing with tight parking situations. Also, the under-seat storage is a welcome delight after spending so many years riding sport bikes and taking a backpack everywhere I went.
However, if you plan on spending more time on the open roads a motorcycle might be a better choice for some people. I personally recommend checking out the Honda Forza 350 and the Yamaha Xmax 300 for those long trips, with plenty of open road power with all of the benefits of a scooter. The Xmax especially has awesome under-seat storage.

While living in Thailand, I love having the freedom to change up my ride whenever I'm in the mood for something different. I've spent years riding motorcycles but I grew to really appreciate the wonderful practicality of scooters.

If you don't currently ride I recommend learning. It's a must-have skill if you plan on spending much time in Thailand or any other southeast Asian country. Riding a motorbike in Thailand will bring a smile to your face.
