Slane Special Edition Irish Whiskey. An Irishman's Opinion #31. The Legacy of 81!

In this video I review Slane Special Edition Irish Whiskey. The legacy of 81. 40 years of music at Slane castle. Slane is one of my favorite budget Irish Whiskies and this Special edition is even better!

On the nose: Spicy Vanilla upfront, oak giving way to the dried fruits of the sherry cask influence.

On the plate: Like the nose its Warm spice and vanilla then the dried figs/sultanas from the sherry casks. Finishing with some oak, spice and a little heat.
Very nice at this price point!
