i collected every berry in generation 3 of pokemon (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen) in 2024

In today's episode of Completely Unnecessary Pokemon Challenges, we attempt to collect every single berry in Generation 3 of Pokemon. This challenge is definitely harder than you expect, and you need to play at least 4 games to complete this challenge.

TLDR: really not worth the time or effort!
Traded everything that could be traded over to Pokemon Sapphire to display at the end.

Thought if anywhere would appreciate this it would be here. Always been curious as to how easily this could be done, but figured I give it a go now since most batteries inside cartridges are dying and it would be very difficult to complete this challenge with a dry battery. Challenged myself to do everything as legitimately as possible (barring forking out thousands of dollars on e-reader cards).

Pokemon Emerald was by far the hardest game to get the berries from since it needed the Silver and Gold symbols cleared to proceed.

Enigma Berry
There's a giant lack of information on how to get the Enigma Berry in Gen III, so if anyone is interested
Obtain one of the e-reader berries in Japanese copy of RS
Transfer Pokemon holding e-reader berry to Pokemon Box JP
On another save file/one that doesn't have an e-reader berry, catch 100 Pokemon for the Dex and defeat Norman at the 5th Gym
Transfer the Pokemon holding the e-reader berry from Pokemon Box JP to your Japanese copy of RS
The e-reader berry should turn into an Enigma Berry.
