Col KV Kuber gave the Industry Perspective and a glimpse of the Indian market scenario on Advanced Materials for Defence & Aerospace on 22 Nov 2023 at the event “Advanced Materials for Defence & Aerospace” organized by Indian Military Review and the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies at the Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi.
The event was attended by the Who's Who of the Advanced Materials community of the three Armed Forces, government, DRDO and Industry. Subjects covered Advanced Materials like Aluminum, Titanium, Nickel, Cobalt, Tungsten, Beryllium and Magnesium Alloys & Superalloys, High-Strength Steel, Composite Materials, used in Defence & Aerospace applications, Ceramics, Polymers, Stealth Coatings, Acoustic and Sonar Materials, Smart & Memory Materials, Nano Materials, Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing.
An alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy, and the Technical Staff College, Colonel KV Kuber, super-specialized in Electronic Warfare. He commanded an Electronic Warfare Regiment (Divya Drishti: Panchajanya) in operations and has conducted EW operations in Western and Eastern theatres, both in conventional and insurgency environments. He has been an Instructor at the National Defence Academy in training potential officers.
