In today's House plenary session, Women and Gender Equality Committee Chairperson Rep. Rene Ann Matibag requested that controversial remarks on Anne Curtis made by House Deputy Minority Leader Rep. Bong Suntay be referred to the Committee on Ethics and Privileges.


Suntay has apologized for his remarks, and said they were "taken out of context."
