Adhoc Relief Allowance 2021 and Upgradation of Admin Clerical Staff
Finance Division, Government of Pakistan has issued a Press Release in connection with the Adhoc Relief Allowance 2021 and Upgradation of Admin Clerical Staff on 11th February 2021. It is to be expected that the Finance Division will issue the Notification in this connection very soon. Copy of the Notification got from Abdullah Khan.
Upgradation of Admin Clerical Staff
Hence in accordance with the agreement reached between the Special Committee constituted by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Similarly, comprising Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak, Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan, and representatives of the Federal Government Employees, the Finance Division has agreed to the following in principle.
However, Disparity Reduction Allowance @ 25% of the basic pay of BPS-2017 shall allow to those civil employees in BPS (1-19) of the Federal Government. Hence including employees of the Federal Secretariat and attached departments who have never allowed additional salary equal to or more than 100% of the basic pay. Whether frozen or not or performance allowance with effect from March 2021. Similarly, the post (BPS-1 to BPS-16) or equivalent will upgrade on the pattern of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with effect from 01st March 2021.
Likewise, the grant of time-scale will also consider for adoption on the same pattern in the next budget. Furthermore, Adhoc relief will also consider being made part of the basic salary with effect from July 2021. However, the Provinces will recommend the adoption of the above from their own resources. Hence a summary of the effect is being placed before the Cabinet for requisite approval.
Hence all the Employees of Pakistan will get benefit if the Provinces agreed to the proposal of the Federal Government Proposal. However, if they did not agree to the federal government proposal then this announcement is only for Federal Government Employees. Now it is the responsibility of the Federal Government to compel the Provincial Government to do the same for their Employees.
