In this clip, he shows how he goes in with a very low hand and racket position to allow himself to get under the ball and simply flick and turn his wrist to send the ball upwards with a steep trajectory.

Because of this, as it hits the front wall the ball rises again even more and goes wide and deep forcing a loose shot from his opponent.
