In this video we explore the Hall effect module joystick for the playstation 5 controller, but can also be used for XBOX and XBOX series S or X. These Hall effect joystick use magnets to register movement instead of wearing down the potentiometers with a carbon track and metal wipers, which use electricity to register position of the joystick. We have a stick drift on one of my controllers and I will change it with the module with a Hall effect to see if we can fix the stick drift and make the controller working properly again for a longer life-span
