Oregon football's TJ Gilbert was one of 46 student-athletes, coaches, administrators, conference staff, and other key stakeholders from across the Conference’s 12 world-class institutions who traveled to Selma and Montgomery, Alabama from July 15-17, 2022. The group participated in a variety of activities highlighted by a march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge, the site of the 1965 “Bloody Sunday” attacks.

TJ takes us through his trip, its impact, and what he learned from the educational experience.
