In the morning sun, I turn to dust
Funny how I used to love blue skies
Funny how a couple years can change so much
I have made myself a crutch, out of all my friends

And now I face myself, turning into something new
I've made myself something else entirely
I'm tired of being tired
And looking up into the stars I find myself
Fallin down

Would I feel as though I've done what I must do?
Made myself a star, orbiting among the greats
Looking down amongst the grounds where I was placed

Reaching further is the only thing you know
Well, I guess I'll keep on diving further out of your view
There is only one way that I can go, leave myself behind
