THE GREAT DAYLIGHT SAVING DEBATE

Here in Australia, we're getting ready for daylight saving to wrap up.

But over in Europe, politicians have just decided to get rid of it altogether.

It's a little controversial, and it's actually something that's been debated in Australia for a long time too.

The European Parliament's just decided all 28 countries in the EU will ditch daylight saving from 2021 after millions of people voted against having it.

Moving clocks an hour forward in spring is all about giving people more daylight in the warmer months.

But not everyone's a fan.

People who are against it say daylight saving affects our sleep patterns and isn't great for our health.

It's a hot topic here in Australia, too because daylight saving is set to end on the 7th of April.

Some states and territories don't follow it. Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia stay the same.

The rest of us will be turning our clocks back an hour, or more accurately, our devices will and it's sure to spark a very timely debate.

ARE WE GOING TO HAVE TO SAY GOODBYE TO MEMES?

Daylight Saving wasn't the only big decision coming out of the European Union.

They've just passed new copyright laws that has the internet freaking out about memes being banned.

Basically, the laws will force platforms like YouTube & Twitter to crackdown on copyright material posted on their sites.

Including the original pics that make up memes.

People have been trying to think up creative workarounds like seeing if memes work without the original pics or drawing their own sketchy.

Experts are saying not to freak out just yet and that memes shouldn't be affected by the new laws.

FIRST ALL-FEMALE SPACEWALK IS CANCELLED

The first ever all-female spacewalk has been cancelled at the last minute.

NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch were set to make history together...

Installing new batteries on the ISS until they realised they both needed a medium size spacesuit and they only had 1 ready.

Obviously getting the right fit on a spacesuit is very important so just to be safe they're sending one of the other astronauts instead.

VIRTUAL REALITY FARMING

If you wanna know what life is like as a farmer, you gotta go visit a farm… right?

Well, thanks to the magic of virtual reality, maybe not.

These guys are experiencing what it's like to be a cattle farmer and learn just how beef is produced.

The creators say it's important for kids to understand all aspects of the beef indutry, so included in the tour was a trip to a meat processing factory.

Tim Gentle is the creator of this VR farming experience he and his dad have been travelling to schools around the country hoping to get kids excited about a career in agriculture.

As for these guys, it's been a pretty exciting bus trip, and even if they don't decide to become famers later on they now understand a bit more about just where their food comes from.

MILLIE BOBBY BROWN MEETS YOUNG FOOTBALLERS

Millie Bobby Brown, who you might know as Stranger Things star Eleven stopped by to say hi to these young footballers in London.

The training sesh was organised as part of the We Play Strong campaign which is about encouraging more girls to play soccer.

A DOG ON A BIKE

Meet Pocho, a pooch who could well be the goodest boy bikie in Chile.

He spends his life on the road with his human Dardo who specially designed a little seat on his bike for his intrepid doggo.

Whenever they pull up for a rest, you can bet there are plenty of curious locals stopping by to say hi.

HUGE ALLIGATOR STOPS BY A GOLF COURSE

It turns out stopping by to say hi doesn't get you quite the same reaction if you happen to be an enormous alligator.

The big Gator decided not to stick around for a bit of golf, deciding it'd rather watch the game from the water instead.
