During my last visit to Raygada, we chanced upon this local craft ideated and promoted by Shri.....

I was amazed to see his magical hands crafting intricate pieces and objets d'art out of a humble bottle gourd. Grown abundantly in Rayagada and Malkangiri Bottle gourds are dried, etched, polished and hand-painted to create beautiful products of necessity, as well as novelty.

It is interesting to note that dried bottle gourds are excellent sources to make water pitchers, holders, carriers and much more.
