Filmed on October 22nd, 2023.

Welcome to Pittsburgh's Most Famous & Iconic Hotel! The Omni William Penn! Built in 1916, the elevators here were obviously all Manually Controlled, but have been modernized twice since, with one bank of elevators most recently getting modernized with a Otis Elevonic 411M Mod with Series 2 fixtures, and the other with EPCO Fixtures. This video features rides on both banks of elevators here. Both elevator banks have absolutely gorgeous cabs and the cabs combined with the fixtures very much reminds me of something you'd see in a Disney hotel (and I don't mean that as an insult!)! Out of the two banks here, I do prefer the Otis cars just a bit more as I much prefer Series 2 fixtures and chimes to EPCO, although the cars with EPCO fixtures do serve more floors and seem to just a little faster. Both banks of elevators are very nice though, and even taking the elevators out of the equation, this hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS & Worth exploring when in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, I didn't make it on the Manually Controlled Freight Elevator here as the staff here told me that they couldn't take me on it due to liability reasons, but they had no issue with me filming the main elevators here and they were pretty friendly, so I can't complain too much.
I hope you all enjoy the video of some modernized but GORGEOUS Elevators in a very iconic & historic Pittsburgh hotel!
