Epileptic Dog Seizure

*Update as of August 2023: Lucas is alive and well! He’s on various epilepsy medications but has been seizure free for over a year and a half. He now has a younger brother, a 1.5 year old golden retriever who loves to keep Lucas active.


This is Lucas, my 3 year old Maltese mix. This is one of his Grand Mal seizures that I recorded for his veterinarian.
Lucas was diagnosed with epilepsy about a year ago. Despite being on multiple medications he still experiences Grand Mal seizures and focal seizures every month.

For all other epi-pet owners out there I wish you all the best! Epi pets are no different then other pets, they still have so much love to give ❤️
