Installing a Frontpoint Motion Sensor is so easy—just peel and stick! It comes pre-configured and ready to use the moment it arrives so there are no complicated manuals or hardwiring required for setup.

Optimize your Motion Sensors by placing them about 4-5 feet off the ground at a point where an intruder would be most likely to walk across the detection field that's 80º wide and about 25 feet long. If your Motion Sensor detects any activity or senses someone walking around your house, it will set off a high-decibel alarm and you'll receive a notification via the Frontpoint App. And if you don't need emergency assistance, just cancel the alarm right from the app.

Have pets? No worries—our advanced technology knows the difference between furry friend and foe. Just make sure you permanently mount the sensor on a wall or in a corner instead of setting it on a counter or shelf where pets could get to it.

But what about when you're at home? Our smart home security technology thinks of everything. Simply use the Stay feature on the Keypad to arm everything except your motion sensors so you don't accidentally trigger them while you're walking around your house.
