Before going deep lets first understand the basics
• So what is Breakout: When the price moves beyond a support or resistance level.
• False Breakout: When the price breaks through a key level but fails to maintain the move and reverses direction.
There are many reasons that you get trapped in such situations but mainly its because
• You did not study the market or the trend properly
• You are trapped by big players or institutional players (I am not talking about operators)
But wait, can you treat as an opportunity and play along the big players or the institutional players.

So, what is trap trading?
In trap trading we buy or sell stocks based on false signal. These false signals are created by institutional players or money players
For example, this is our resistance level.
The price breaks the resistance and goes a bit higher, and here we take a trade.
But instead of going further up, the price goes down below the resistance, and we incur a loss.
So, simply, this is called a trap.
